Leaving Chicago in a few days. Going down south then back to New York. Surprised? Me neither.

So, the term "world music" has always bothered the shit out of me, you?
It just stinks of American swine that want to seem more "cultured".
But, it has never steered me away from loving the sweet sounds that have come from Brazil, Africa, the middle-east, etc. etc. etc.

As of late, it seems to be filling the ears of many like-minded young upstarts.
