Where was I?

Exile is a strong word. For the last few months, I have been resting.
Reading, listening to music, walking, even jogging (what gives?).
My ear has stayed planted to the ground as best I could keep it there.
Why then did I miss out on Yeasayer? Where was I?
Really, how long did I sleep for?
Pitchfork gave them a rating of 7.8 on Oct. 25th 2007. I was around. How did I miss this?

Letting go of all that, I believe it was planned that their songs pop up right before Yes on my iTunes. Creating this beautiful little transition that is almost hardly noticed.
This is the me of 2008, missing out on nothing any longer.
